Respiratory Protection - Silica Dust [Spanish]

This course will ensure the safe use of respirators and dust masks when a worker could be exposed to Silica Dust. It will cover use, inspection, maintenance, and storage.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • Identify the Silica Dust hazard and health effects
  • Respirator components and their function
  • Proper Donning & Doffing procedures including user seal checks
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct the Respirator Fit Test

General Industry - 29 CFR 1910.134

Construction - 29 CFR 1926.55; 29 CFR 1926.103
