OSHA standards require the use of PPE to reduce employee exposure to hazards when engineering and administrative controls are not feasible or effective in reducing these exposures to acceptable levels. In this course we will review these regulations and the most effective forms of protections at work once we resort to the use of PPE.

  • How to perform a hazard assessment for different tasks
  • Determine the need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • How to properly put on, take off, adjust, and use PPE
  • Limitations of Personal Protective Equipment (PP)
