Participants will learn the following:

  • How to use common reference tools including the NIOSH Pocket Guide, DOT ERG and Safety Data Sheets
  • How to select PPE and identify their appropriate use
  • How to properly select, use and maintain a respirator
  • Understand the Incident Command Center (ICS) and its relationship to FEMA’s National Incident Management (NIM’s) system
